Audley End House and Gardens, Saffron Walden

Today we got out and wandered to a place called Audley End House and Gardens located in Saffron Walden. We explored the amazing house that dated back to the 1600's and the amazing grounds maintained by the English Heritage Society. The mansion was ginormous and the grounds were immaculate. The English army retained ownership of this property in WWII and a private society has since maintained it. The family that originally owned it still farms in the area. We also tasted our first fish and chips, needless to say it was not that good. We don't like fried foods. But the day was fantastic spent as a family and seeing the beautiful things we live by!
