Catch Up

As usual I fail at updating! Things are starting to get crazy as we prepare for our move to England in a little under 7 weeks! Yes, you read that right 7 weeks! We have been waiting on passports for 6 six weeks and were notified yesterday that Mike's and I's passports were denied due to picture issues! Stress beyond stress. We had to go get new pictures taken yesterday and mail them today to get our civilian passports hopefully soon!  Along with our tourist passports we still need military passports and visas.  We have an appointment on Friday with the military to get those started and hopefully they will have no additional issues.  We have to be out of our house by July 31st, Mike doesn't finish work until the 1st of August along with outprocessing.  We have heard that can take as little as one day or up to three days depending on the amount of paperwork.
We have come to learn that no one really gives you a straightforward answer as to the proper procedure for moving with the military.  You kind of just learn little by little and by what you hear through the grapevine.  It is times like these I am extremely grateful for people that have gone through the same circumstances and share their stories and what the process was for them, it is beyond helpful. We will be in temporary lodging for what I am planning on about thirty days as our household goods are packed and shipped to England.  The entire process is beyond me and I am praying everything goes smoothly.  We also will be driving to St. Louis in order to ship our car from that port.  From there we will be flying out of the St. Louis airport most likely to New York and hopping on a direct flight from there to London.  It is happening so fast I am stressed and getting in packing mode.  We are decluttering our house from top to bottom and always getting rid of stuff.
Azy and I just got back from a two week trip visiting family and dropping off some stuff that would not be able to go to England with us.  She did amazing on the first leg of the trip with the first day's drive taking sixteen hours.  She was a champ and didn't really cry at all.  We made it safe and sound and enjoyed two weeks visiting with my siblings along with Mike's aunt and uncle, grandma and grandpa.
Aislyn also turned eight months and has began crawling a little over a month ago, she just got her first two teeth, her hair is starting to finally grow, along with her new noises of screeching/singing whatever you want to call it.  I can't believe how fast time is going by and clearly I remember holding her for the first time.  It is unbelievable how much she has changed and how grateful I am to be her mother.
